Our Coaching Staff

Owner and Head Coach, Leon Lifschutz – Leon has been coaching hockey for nearly 20 years. He has been head instructor at SAVES Goaltending in Toronto, Canada, and a goalie coach at the college level. On the goalie front, he is currently the VSAHA Goalie Development Coordinator.

 

Leon also has plenty of experience with players and teams. He is currently the head coach of the UVM Men's Club Hockey team. He started his team coaching career at Milton and Burlington High Schools before a nearly decade run with the St. Michael’s College Women’s Hockey program serving in a variety of roles. 

 

Off the ice Leon is a lecturer at the University of Vermont in the College of Education and Social Services. He has a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies where he focused his research on USA Hockey’s American Development Model. Leon lives in Essex, VT with his wife, son, and dog.
